Accessibility Statement for Cerebric

This is an accessibility statement from Cerebric Ltd.

Accessibility matters to us in particular because Cerebric supports people being assessed for and living with neurodevelopmental conditions. Many of the people who use our patient portal have access needs, so we treat accessibility as core to the product rather than something added afterwards.

Measures to support accessibility

Cerebric Ltd takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Cerebric:

• Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
• Integrate accessibility into our procurement practices.
• Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.

Inclusive and cognitive accessibility

Our patient-facing portal is designed to be usable by as wide a range of people as possible, including those with cognitive and learning differences, attention differences and sensory sensitivities.

We take account of recognised accessibility guidance, including WCAG and the guidance from the W3C’s Cognitive and Learning Disabilities Accessibility Task Force (COGA). That guidance covers areas such as clear and plain language, simple and predictable navigation, and reducing the memory and attention load a task places on someone. This is work in progress, and we welcome feedback wherever we fall short.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Cerebric is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
